C-COM signs up Weather Forecast, LLC for 2-way high-speed
OTTAWA, Jan. 24, 2002 /CNW/ - C-COM Satellite Systems, Inc. (CDNX: CMI)
has entered into a strategic partnership with Buffalo, New York based Weather
Forecast, LLC, to provide 2-Way High-Speed Internet services. Through C-COM's
High-Speed service, Weather Forecast, LLC will collect and distribute weather
information, including real time visual images, across the United States and
Canada.
Weather Forecast, LLC will remotely collect and distribute forecast
services using the C-COM delivered 2-Way High-Speed Internet solution from
communities and rural locations that do not offer High-Speed Internet
connections. Through AccuWeather iSight(TM), users across the US and Canada
will be able to log onto the Internet and access weather data information from
many remote locations and will also be able to see the weather conditions at
these locations.

High-Speed Internet solution to extend the delivery of their existing service
to many additional locations across North America," said Leslie Klein,
